MID-LIFE CRISIS is a collection of tunes I put out in October of '03. I'd been through a bunch of personal stuff, and hadn't made any music for a long time. I made myself start to compose, and suddenly there was this collection of tunes about finding oneself adrift but still floating at a 'mature' age. Songs of puzzlement, despair, resignation, and hope.

One of the unique things, I dare say, during the 20 years when I taught elementary music was the vast amount of original music performed by the three choruses and quite often the 2 bands. I split the writing duties about 50=50 with the kids.MODELING BEHAVIOR is a collection of some tunes I wrote for the various choruses over the years, recast in keys comfortable for a 'mature' male, with a lot more guitar solos than there were originally. The original tape had many more tunes - slowly but surely I'm getting them into the digital realm.
